March and Rally...

Jimmy Reid, the former trade union leader and one of Scotland’s leading political thinkers endorsed the SNP’s campaign for the 2007 Parliamentary elections in a public meeting organised by the SNP Trade Union Group.

Jimmy spoke warmly of the City of Dundee’s contribution to the trade union and labour movement and made the distinction between those who set up the Labour Party and today’s New Labour.

Jimmy said, “Only the Scottish National Party represents the needs and aspirations of the working people of Scotland.”
